A Phoenix/Scottsdale native and Saguaro High School standout, Dampier earned the 2022 Ed Doherty Award as Arizona’s top high-school football player before making an immediate impact at New Mexico. There he became the starting QB, produced over 3,900 yards of total offense, and established himself as one of the Mountain West’s most dangerous offensive weapons.
Ahead of the 2025 season, Dampier followed offensive coordinator Jason Beck to Utah, where he quickly stepped into a leadership role. He has earned spots on the Maxwell, Davey O’Brien, and Wuerffel Trophy watch lists, pairing explosive athletic ability with strong character and community-driven values.
