Her balance of strength and artistry has made her a reliable all-around competitor for the Utah Red Rocks, where she continues to deliver high-impact routines and championship-level performances.
Known for her poise and discipline, Makenna is a 10-time All-American with 34 career event victories, and was crowned 2025 Big 12 Bars Champion. She hit career-high scores of 9.975 on vault and floor, 9.95 on beam, and posted an all-around best of 39.725.

Devon Dampier is Utah’s dynamic junior quarterback, known for his explosive dual-threat play and steady leadership. A Phoenix/Scottsdale native and Saguaro High School standout, Dampier earned the 2022 Ed Doherty Award as Arizona’s top high-school football player before making an immediate impact at New Mexico. There he became the starting QB, produced over 3,900 yards of total offense, and established himself as one of the Mountain West’s most dangerous offensive weapons.
Ahead of the 2025 season, Dampier followed offensive coordinator Jason Beck to Utah, where he quickly stepped into a leadership role. He has earned spots on the Maxwell, Davey O’Brien, and Wuerffel Trophy watch lists, pairing explosive athletic ability with strong character and community-driven values. Dampier continues to grow as a national name while staying grounded in his mission to help others.
